You probably remember your grandmother having a Chenille dressing gown. It had a lovely silky smooth feel to it.

The latest sensation in caravanning in Europe is to have an insect “curtain” in the doorway to your caravan. The curtain consists of ‘ropes’ of Chenille about 20mm diameter that hang across the doorway, just stopping at the step. It is very good at keeping insects out and air conditioning in. You simply glide through this caressing barrier.

RTM has contracted with the Italian manufacturer to produce two models for Australian conditions. One consists of grey/light grey alternating ropes and the other blue/light blue. The dimensions of the curtain are 620(W) x 1780(L)mm - to the Australian standard. Beware of internet suppliers who offer the Euro-size model, which is too narrow for the Aussie caravan doorway.
