The Casio PRIZM FX-CG10 color graphing calculator, designed specifically for use by teachers and students of mathematics, has many advanced features to enhance learning in a more realistic way. Instead of memorizing meaningless formulas, students learn by experimenting, creating graphs on their own to understand the functions based on their results.
High-Resolution Color LCD Display
The high-resolution screen uses more than 65,000 colors to display real-life images, as well as eight lines of twenty-one characters, for easy viewing of graphs, formulas, and results in textbook format. It also features ten-digit mantissa and two-digit exponential display.
Viewing and Editing of Data in List Format
The Casio PRIZM FX-CG10 allows students and teachers to view and edit data in list format, conveniently displaying data in logical groups, such as x-data, y-data, and frequency. Specifying which operation you want to perform is as simple as selecting an icon or inputting a number.
Recall and Edit Previous Formulas
With sixteen megabytes of memory, this calculator can store plenty of formulas. It's easy to recall previously executed formulas for editing or re-executing, allowing you to reuse the same formula over and over again. If you need to transfer the data to your computer or print it out for homework, it's not a problem, because the calculator allows data communication with your PC.
Convenient Battery Operation
The Casio PRIZM FX-CG10 operates on four AAA-size alkaline batteries, providing between 140 and 250 hours of operation, depending on the functions used. Your first set of batteries is included, but it’s always a good idea to keep extra batteries on hand.
